Cape Town as the oldest town of South Africa also called „the mother city “, claims to be the most beautiful cape in the whole world. Table Mountain towers over the city with it’s 1066 meters hieght and 3 km wide presence. Town centre and surrounding countryside offer great objects of interest, the world-famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and more, many good restaurants, which have an outstanding reputation particularly because of their fresh sea foods. Nowhere else in the country is there a larger cultural variety. It is a cheerful mixture from overwhelming beauty, old tradition, culture and the multicoloured mixture of humans „of the rainbow nation “, which constitute the charm of the Mother City of South Africa. Cape Town is the metropolitan city, port, open city. The population is white, brown and black and speaks English, Afrikaans and the many different languages of the black ones like Xhosa or Zulu. Hospitality, open-mindedness and friendliness plays an important role.
